BLOG – (BLOG is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption.  A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, etc.) A great way to share the latest with missions teams, missionaries and other related stuff.

Today when I looked in the mirror I noticed the same woman that God created 29 years ago. But I am not the same woman as I was three years ago. Today I am much more confident in the Lord and His faithfulness. My history with the Lord has established a foundation in which my adventure with the Lord moves my spirit.
 
I am forever grateful for the miracles that God did both in my heart and in the lives of the Norwegian people. God in His wonderful mercy has transitioned me to a season of rest and new relationships. I treasure the time that God has allowed me to spend reconnecting with family and friends here on the other side of the Atlantic. As of December 20th of last year, God has led me to pursue a romantic relationship with my best friend of eight years. This summer, Trevor Baird and I will be getting married.
 
Missions will always be on the forefront of my heart as this is the unique way God has wired me to be. The next season of my life I am being diligent to wait on the lord and prepare my heart for a marriage that is aimed at beating the odds.
 
With sincere gratitude and humbled appreciation, I am thankful for your prayers, support and encouragement during the last chapter of my life. I pray that the goodness of God would overtake you and His face shine upon you.

BLOG tips

  • When a person or organization creates a BLOG, it is often intended to share photos, ideas, and current events about themselves and their organization.
  • When missionaries on the field create a BLOG they are also reaching out to HOME.  It is a big blessing for missionaries to have people view their pics and comment.  You can leave little notes for them on their BLOG by clicking the ‘comments’ link under each picture.  It is extra fun for the BLOG creator to see comments, especially from family/friends back home!
  • Comments you make on a BLOG are public.  If you want to be more personal in your comments, email them.
