Church of Living Water's Marriage Ministries supports couples as they build a solid marriage

We believe that a solid marriage is:

  • Committed to Christ
  • Committed to Community
  • Committed to Growth

A couple pursuing a solid marriage committed to Christ will make attending church a weekly priority; they will read the Bible alone and as a couple; and they will pray together for both the small and large issues of life.  Marriage Ministries encourages couples to participate consistently in our weekend services as well as participating in Living Water's CARE classes.

A couple pursuing a solid marriage committed to community will develop friendships for mutual growth and accountability; they will volunteer to serve others; and they will spend time with others in a small group setting.  Marriage Ministries seeks to connect couples to suitable small groups as well as giving them opportunities to use their gifts and talents to minister to others.  See Marriage Ministries Small Groups for more information and check out our annual Couples' Conference as well.

A couple pursuing a solid marriage committed to growth will look for ways to improve communication with each other; they will learn about and apply God's purposes for their money; they will pursue God's best concerning sex and intimacy within marriage; and they will invest in life long learning together.  Marriage Ministries endorses four key curriculums that address the typical difficult areas (communication, finances, and sex and intimacy) that marriages face.  We offer these as our "marriage pathway" and encourage all couples to keep journeying forward together.

Church of Living Water's Marriage Ministries is led by Pastor Tim and Dhana Wimberly and supported by a team of couples who desire to encourage other couples in pursuing solid marriages.  For more information or to get involved contact Dhana at 360.754.5830 or email.
