Anthem (formerly Master's Commission) at Living Water is a dynamic leadership-development program designed to empower and instruct young adults who are passionate about following Jesus and pursuing lives of meaning and ministry.  Anthem is a full-time, immersion discipleship program where students are plunged into three pools of learning:  hands-on training, curricular studies and personal discipleship.

The name Anthem reflects the passion of this generation...the kind of passion that caused King David to write: "My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God" (Psalm 84:2). Anthem also reminds us that God has given every person a voice—and it's up to us to find it and use it for Him!

Our mission is to produce generations of ministry leaders who will be successful in the contexts of their personal lives, the church and the world!  Our students...

:: grow in the knowledge of God’s Word
:: gain real-world experience in ministering to others in Jesus’ name
:: develop spiritual disciplines that will fuel a lifetime of growth in the Lord
:: experience being a vital part of a healthy, growing church
:: build life-long relationships with friends and mentors
:: be transformed more and more into the likeness of Christ.

In May/June 2010, just before the conclusion of our program, our entire team traveled to the Dominican Republic for two and half weeks of travel and ministry.  First, we headed to the Dominican Republic to work side by side with Rich and Kirsten Root, Living Water’s own missionaries to that area. We focused on evagelism in areas around Santo Domingo, beginning with a new church plant in Pedernalis, which was a 7 hour bus ride away.  We spent a lot of time loving on the people in each community we visited.  Working along side the students of the Dominian Republic's version of Anthem, named Legado (Legacy) which has just completed it's first year, was a wonderful blessing!  Finally, we served at the Foursquare International Conference in Atlanta, GA. This was a great opportunity to bless the thousands of pastors and national church leaders who gathered from around the world.

Doing the Next Right Thing...
